President
After 40 years working inside owner-managed businesses — not as an outside advisor, but as the person accountable for the results — Eric has learned that most profit problems aren't strategy problems. They're execution problems.
As President of EDGE, he brings together executive leadership, engineering, and global sourcing under one roof — giving $10M–$25M companies access to the kind of senior talent that typically only large corporations can afford. Eric is among the first 50 practitioners worldwide certified by Dr. Eli Goldratt himself across all six Theory of Constraints disciplines — spanning Holistic Strategy, Operations Management, Distribution, Finance & Measures, Thinking Process, and Project Management. In practice, this means every engagement starts by finding what's actually constraining the business, and fixing that first.
His track record spans manufacturing, distribution, construction, security, IT, and consumer products — as a plant manager, VP, President, CEO, and fractional executive across companies from startup to $75M. Twice nominated for EY's Entrepreneur of the Year. Three-time Profit Magazine Hot 50.
Value Engineering
Nick brings a rare combination of aerospace engineering rigour and Big 4 consulting methodology to EDGE's value engineering practice. He helped build EY's value engineering practice before joining EDGE to apply that expertise to owner-managed companies.
Trained as an aerospace engineer, Nick applies the precision and systems thinking of that discipline to product cost reduction — finding the gap between what a product costs and what it should cost, and closing it without compromising performance.
His background includes experience at EY-Parthenon and ADAPTOVATE, where he worked across manufacturing, consumer goods, and industrial products. He holds a P.Eng. designation and brings both analytical rigour and commercial judgement to every engagement.
At EDGE, Nick leads value engineering engagements — working directly with clients on should-cost modelling, design for manufacturability, and sourcing optimization.
Electrical Design / Engineering
Ryan McMillan is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in electronics, PCB design, firmware development, and manufacturing automation. He is the founder of Maplewell Engineering, an Authorized Microchip Design Partner.
Ryan's expertise spans the full electronics development cycle — from circuit board design and embedded firmware through to production integration and manufacturing automation. His work has delivered end-to-end electronics solutions across consumer, industrial, and electro-mechanical applications.
Through EDGE's partnership with Maplewell Engineering, clients gain access to Authorized Microchip Design Partner status — a designation held by a small number of firms globally, reflecting deep expertise in Microchip's product ecosystem.
Ryan brings a practical, production-oriented approach to electronics engineering — designing systems not just to work, but to be manufactured efficiently and reliably at scale.
Mechanical Design / Engineering
Mandeep Singh has spent more than 30 years in injection mould making and product development, working across lighting, consumer goods, electro-mechanical systems, and industrial products. He holds more than 15 North American patents — a testament to a career built on original engineering solutions.
His expertise covers the full mechanical design and manufacturing cycle: 2D and 3D CAD, injection mould design and fabrication, CNC machined and rapid prototyped components, jigs and fixtures, automation machine design, and metal fabrication.
Mandeep's philosophy is that how a mould is designed determines everything downstream — cycle time, part quality, cost per unit, and how easy it is to change the design later. Getting it right at the design stage is the highest-leverage point in any product's cost structure.
At EDGE, Mandeep leads mechanical design and tooling engagements, working closely with the value engineering and sourcing teams to ensure products are designed to be manufactured well — the first time.
Global Sourcing
Edward Teo brings 26 years of supply chain and sourcing experience across Southeast Asia and China, with deep networks across Malaysia, Guangzhou, and Suzhou. He has spent his career building the kind of supplier relationships and on-the-ground infrastructure that most North American companies can't access on their own.
Edward's expertise spans supplier identification and qualification, outgoing inspection and quality control, logistics coordination, and OEM/ODM engagement management. He operates at the intersection of product engineering and supply chain — understanding both what a product needs to do and what it takes to manufacture it reliably at scale.
His Malaysian base and established network throughout China give EDGE a genuine on-the-ground presence rather than a network of distant contacts. Quality is managed at the source, not from a desk in Ontario.
At EDGE, Edward leads all strategic sourcing engagements — from initial supplier assessment through to stable, production-ready supply chains for North American clients.
Marketing
Antoinette Lucchese is a dynamic Marketing and Brand leader with nearly 30 years of experience driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth across telecommunications, security and access control, and industrial sectors.
Antoinette began her career at Rutherford Controls Int'l, spending almost 18 years progressing from Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Manager — developing deep expertise across product marketing, trade show management, customer relations, corporate communications, and go-to-market execution.
She went on to hold progressive international marketing leadership roles at dormakaba Americas — Lead Marketing Manager (International) then Senior Manager of Marketing Field Services and Lead Brand Ambassador for the Americas — leading integrated marketing activities across all product clusters throughout North and South America, redefining the Brand Ambassador program and establishing team code of conduct and brand promise.
Antoinette has since held Sales and Marketing Manager roles at EDGE and Hall Telecommunications Supply Ltd, where she currently serves as Marketing Manager and member of the Senior Leadership Team, overseeing comprehensive marketing strategy, digital channels, SEO, campaign performance, and marketing staff. She brings a rare combination of brand strategy, field marketing execution, and hands-on commercial experience to every engagement.
Quality Process & Control
Jackie Wu is a seasoned Supplier Quality and Manufacturing leader with 17 years of experience delivering quality system excellence, supplier development, and cost reduction across automotive, consumer electronics, security and access control, and industrial sectors. He brings deep technical expertise across metal and plastic manufacturing processes — including die-casting, stamping, CNC, injection moulding, electroplating, PVD, and SMT/PTH assembly — combined with a track record of measurable operational improvement.
Early in his career, Jackie built his foundation at Foxconn Technology Group, managing supplier quality for Microsoft's Xbox Kinect program and reducing component yield loss from 3% to 0.3%. He went on to serve as Quality and Production Supervisor at META System Shenzhen — a supplier to BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche — driving production efficiency from 84% to 95% and on-time delivery from 80% to 97%.
Jackie subsequently joined dormakaba as Quality Manager for the Asia-Pacific Procurement Centre, delivering $300K USD in annual savings and leading quality support for a $10M+ turnstile project in Malaysia. He currently serves as Supplier Quality Manager at EDGE, overseeing supplier development, PPAP approvals, and quality systems across LED lighting, elevator components, and medical products. He is a certified IATF internal auditor, proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and MSA.
Production, Quality, Engineering & Logistics
Bob Cheung is a seasoned LED and Semiconductor Technology leader with 18+ years of experience spanning process engineering, field application, sales, and executive leadership across the global lighting and semiconductor industries.
Bob holds a Master's degree in Physics and Optics and built his technical foundation as a Process Engineer at Philips Semiconductor. He went on to join Samsung Semiconductor's LED division, where he progressed from Senior Field Application Engineer to LED Sales Manager — combining deep technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive customer solutions across indoor and outdoor lighting applications worldwide.
Since 2018, Bob has served as Vice President at Huizhou Renshang Technology, EDGE's manufacturing partner in southern China — a 4,000 m² ultra-clean production facility that has held a leading position in China's LED lighting industry since 2007. Bob's expertise in LED chip and package design, and in indoor and outdoor module and fixture design, positions him as a uniquely well-rounded leader who bridges engineering depth with business development and manufacturing excellence.
